Where You Can Walk In Your Purpose!

"Where You Can Come As You Are & Leave As God Purposed"

Greetings From Pastor

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

The entire St. James Church Family along with my wife Lady Minister Carmen D. Spruill, my two children Zechariah Wishe and Camryn Faith, and I welcome you to St. James Church Site.  I am truly excited that we are here to offer encouragement and growth in the word and experience of God.  I am just as excited that you took enough interest to visit.

God has truly moved in a tremendous way since I was elected as Pastor in July of 2005.  I have seen overwhelming growth, healing and spiritual elevation occur by all those whom have walked through the doors of the church surrendering their will to God’s will.  God has placed an anointing on the teaching and preaching that has gone forth to propel forward those desiring a closer walk with him.  God has emphasized the importance of Love and sharing it. It is Critical that We Live What We Speak so God may get the Glory in all we do!  Love can help heal broken hearts and troubled minds pointing recipients to the ultimate Love of Jesus Christ.  Therefore at St. James we strive to follow St. John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

God is surely raising up a generation that is willing to walk in ways, exhibit the love of Christ and operate in his will despite the opposition.  I am grateful and excited that He has called me out to serve his people specifically in Durham, NC and throughout the region.

This ministry speaks to the total man of all ages focusing on God’s desire to know each of us Personally and Intimately. There is truly nothing to hard for God and if we just respond to his call, continue to abide in that calling, we can ask what we will and if we believe - it shall be so.  As Jesus stated in John :15:4: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” John :15:7:If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

I pray this site has benefited you in some fashion and that it will invoke the desire in your spirit to visit us personally.  I look forward to you coming experience the move of God at “The Church On The Move – Where Everybody Is Somebody & Jesus Is The Main Attraction – Changing Your World”.

In Christian Love,

Elder Eric Spruill, Pastor
