· We believe in one God -Father, Son and Holy Spirit, (The Holy Trinity) Creator of all things.
· We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, operated in an earthly ministry as incarnate God, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father interceding on our behalf and is true God and true man.
· We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Rhema Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
· We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved through a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ, and the eternal punishment of the lost by denying and not accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
· We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
· We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
· We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.
· We believe in observing the Lord’s Holy Communion as Jesus instructed to do in Remembrance of him, water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
· We believe in the Christian's hope -the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to receive His own and judge the world.
Our desire at St. James is to minister to the total man. We know that God has predestined greatness in each of our lives, but is our individual choice whether to walk in it and operate accordingly. We desire that through anointed teaching and preaching you will be able to identify with, understand, and follow the instruction God has provided for your life. We are determined to have a spirit filled, love embodied ministry that builds the integrity of men and women with a God consciousness, so that they function in a way that glorifies God and thus help “Change Your World”.
